Crocodile Tears

Once upon a time in a small and lost village in Australia lived a tribe. The boys were hunting with their father and the girls were preparing the dinner meal with their mothers.
Everyone was happy, except a little girl called Min-na-wee. She was always angry and caused trouble with the other girls. The old people in the tribe knew that something terrible would happen to Min-na-wee. She was a bad-behaviour little girl.
Years passed and Min-na-wee grew into a young woman, but she continued causing trouble. The men of the tribe didn’t want to marry Min-na-wee and the elders agreed to send her to another land alone. But she decided to escape. She run in to the edge of the sea. There bad spirits changed her into a vicious animal: a large crocodile.
One day, the elders went  fishing to the edge of the sea. Min-na-wee waited to attack. Suddenly, she jumped and catched one of them. She rolled him in the water over and over. She thought she was the right thing: ’she left me alone’, she thought. But she started to cry and thought about this man’s family. So, she left him free.
To this day, the spirit of Min-na-wee is in all crocodiles and every time a crocodile catches its prey, it always rolls over and over in the water and cries for its food.
